A Magical Night of Music and Wine

As the light changes, the weather cools and the kids head back to school, it's natural for our thoughts to drift back to the summer just gone.
For me, the 23rd of July was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the summer of 2025. That evening, Norah Jones, the famed singer, songwriter and musician, played in the cellar of Maison Wessman for a gathering of friends and guests from all over the world.
Norah is also, I am proud to say, our co-owner and business partner at Maison Wessman, as well as an inspiration. Surrounded by wine in the barrel room, she led us in a celebration of that partnership and its first fruits: our This Life rosé and crémant de Limoux.
You can find an evocative account of the evening in Paris Match here. And I am personally deeply grateful to Norah for many things: for taking the leap of faith to work with us; for taking the time to come to Bergerac at the end of her latest European tour; and for sharing her lifelong musical talents and newfound passion for wine.
This autumn, I raise my glass to Norah and look forward to our next vintage!
